Job Description
This role is for a VDC Engineer to lead digital delivery processes within the Advanced Manufacturing sector. You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing VDC/BIM strategies, aligning them with project and client goals. This includes defining digital delivery scopes, coordinating technical setups, and managing model deliverables.
You will create and implement BIM Execution Plans, integrate VDC tasks like 4D scheduling and 5D cost estimation, and manage the Common Data Environment. A key part of this role involves leading clash detection and resolution, acting as a BIM Subject Matter Expert, and coordinating reality capture for progress reporting. You'll also manage model redlining, as-built processes, and provide on-site technical support.
The company is looking for someone with at least 7 years of VDC/BIM experience in construction, strong proficiency in BIM software like Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and experience with laser scanning. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential, as is a proven track record of on-site VDC leadership.
