Job Description
The company is looking for a VDC Engineer to join their Advanced Manufacturing Group. This role involves managing and optimizing digital delivery processes for transformative projects in sectors like electric vehicles and data centers. You'll be responsible for creating BIM Execution Plans, integrating VDC tasks like 4D scheduling and 5D cost estimation, and managing the Common Data Environment.
You will also lead clash detection and resolution, act as a BIM subject matter expert, and oversee model redlining and as-built processes. The position requires coordinating laser scan data, facilitating Scan to BIM efforts, and creating project processes for field teams. This is a site-based role with a flexible home office location in the U.S., requiring at least 7 years of VDC/BIM experience, proficiency in software like Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and strong leadership skills.
