Job Description
The company is looking for a VDC Engineer to join their Advanced Manufacturing Group. This role involves managing and optimizing digital delivery processes for projects in sectors like electric vehicles and data centers. You'll be responsible for aligning technologies with project goals, creating BIM Execution Plans, and integrating VDC tasks such as 4D scheduling and clash detection.
You will also manage the Common Data Environment, coordinate with design teams and trade partners, and act as a BIM Subject Matter Expert. The position requires experience with laser scanning, reality capture, and leading VDC activities on site. This is a site-based role with a flexible home office location in the U.S., and you'll be involved in stakeholder collaboration and supporting business development efforts.
This opportunity is for someone with at least 7 years of VDC/BIM experience, strong knowledge of BIM technologies, and proficiency in software like Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as is a proven track record of onsite VDC leadership.
