Job Description
This company is looking for a VDC Engineer to join their Advanced Manufacturing Group. You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing digital delivery processes, aligning technologies with project goals, and defining digital delivery scopes. This role involves creating BIM Execution Plans, integrating VDC tasks like 4D scheduling and 5D cost estimation, and managing the Common Data Environment.
You will also lead clash detection and resolution meetings, act as a BIM Subject Matter Expert, and coordinate laser scan data integration. The position requires managing model redline and as-built processes, verifying construction with model-based practices, and leading reality capture for progress reporting. You'll also provide on-site leadership and technical support for field employees.
The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of VDC/BIM experience, strong proficiency in BIM software like Revit and Navisworks, and experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and laser scanning. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a proven track record of on-site VDC leadership.
