This company is looking for an Architecture Intern to join their Habitat Lab for a two-month period. You'll be involved in designing a real, modern home from the initial concept all the way through to the final renders and service layouts. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to architectural planning, including generating layout options and optimizing them for various factors like vastu and ventilation. You will also be responsible for 3D design and visualization, creating massing models, exterior concepts, and rendered visuals. The role includes developing interior design concepts, selecting materials, and planning lighting and furniture layouts. Additionally, you'll be involved in conceptual service planning for electrical and plumbing, and basic MEP coordination. The ideal candidate will have skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit, Lumion/V-Ray/Enscape, and basic Photoshop. A good understanding of interiors, materials, and lighting is essential. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and build a significant portfolio piece by working directly with the founder on a project that will actually be built.
