Job Description
The company is seeking an Interior Design Intern with a focus on sustainability and material reuse for a retail mall renovation project in Mainland China. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a sustainability architect and the broader design team. You'll be exploring innovative ways to reuse existing materials and integrate sustainable solutions within the renovation.
This position involves supporting material reuse analysis, developing strategies, and researching creative ideas for circular design. You will also assist in preparing reports, drawings, and visualizations to communicate proposals effectively. The role requires collaboration with consultants, contractors, and suppliers, as well as translating project information between English and Mandarin Chinese.
Ideal candidates are current students or recent graduates in Interior Design, Architecture, or Sustainable Design, with fluency in both English and Mandarin. A strong interest in sustainability, circular design, and embodied carbon is essential, along with a creative approach to material solutions and proficiency in design software.
