Job Description
This company is looking for a student to join their team focused on remanufacturing and circular economy principles. The core of this internship involves automating the creation of disassembly instructions from CAD models.
You will be responsible for developing a Python pipeline to visualize disassembly sequences directly from CAD data. This includes selecting the best visualization tool, such as Teamcenter API, PLM Vis WEB, or ParaView, and designing a strategy to display different views of component assemblies. You'll also work on harmonizing component IDs between CAD and manufacturing data and creating a user-friendly interface with Streamlit.
The ideal candidate is studying Data Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science, with some Python experience and ideally some exposure to CAD. Strong German and English skills are required.
If you're eager to contribute to the future of CAD-based circular economy, this is a great opportunity.
