Job Description
This company is looking for a Drafting Technician to join their Drafting and Design Solutions team. You'll be working with custom product quote requests, collaborating with various departments like Design, Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to bring unique customer designs to life.
Your main responsibilities will include creating detailed drawings and templates for manufacturing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You'll also monitor the incoming queue, troubleshoot drawing-related issues, and support junior technicians. This is an 18-month term position.
The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD, understands detailing practices, and has strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment and product knowledge would be a plus.
