Job Description
This company is looking for a Graduate Construction Project Manager to join their team in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in client-side project delivery, working on projects that improve university facilities. You'll be mentored by experienced professionals, helping you develop your skills in technical, commercial, and stakeholder management. The role can be structured part-time or full-time, depending on your study commitments.
In this role, you'll support Project Managers with tasks like design coordination, procurement, and construction oversight. You'll also assist with project governance, risk management, and contract administration. Engaging with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors on a live campus environment will be a key part of your day-to-day activities.
To be considered, you should be in your 3rd or 4th year of Construction Management (or a similar degree) at the University of Newcastle, with a strong academic record and a real passion for project management. Good teamwork and communication skills are essential, as is a willingness to work on sites. A full Australian driver's license is also required.
