Job Description
This company is looking for a BIM Technician to join their team in Austin, Texas. You'll be using BIM software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to create 3D models and help with spatial planning for tools in their FAB design projects.
Your role will involve coordinating with different engineering and construction teams, as well as facility engineers and IT. You'll also assist engineers with field observations, checking on-site conditions against the 3D model, and assigning facility ports to semiconductor tools.
This position offers a chance to refine design workflows, collaborate on global projects, and help identify and mitigate project risks. You'll also use tools like Navisworks for clash detection and maintain organized design documents.
