Job Description
This company is looking for a CAD Technologist Specialist to join their Engineering Drafting team in Scarborough, Ontario. The main focus of this role is to update and standardize legacy technical documentation, converting older CAD drawings and fabrication documents into current formats.
You'll be responsible for recreating drawings, ensuring they meet production-ready standards, and updating bills of materials. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial CAD drafting and manufacturing support within a structured engineering environment.
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or CAD-related program and has experience with CAD software like AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures are key.
