This role is for an Interior Design Lead based in Christchurch, New Zealand. The company is looking for someone to guide the design and execution of interior architecture projects, ensuring they align with the overall vision for their villages. This position involves project delivery, technical guidance, and team leadership, covering both initial concepts and detailed design phases. A key part of the job is making sure all designs meet required standards and deliver excellent results for residents. You will be responsible for leading interior design across new developments and existing village projects, managing external consultants and suppliers, and maintaining design standards. This includes overseeing documentation, coordinating FF&E procurement, and reviewing design packages for quality and compliance. You'll also identify and manage design risks and provide expert advice across the business. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading interior design projects, ideally in sectors like retirement living, aged care, or hospitality. Strong commercial project delivery skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and experience coordinating consultants and suppliers are essential. Proficiency in Revit and a good understanding of New Zealand construction processes are also required.
