This role is for a Lead Mechanical Engineer focused on data centres in Berlin, Germany. You'll be responsible for leading the design of mechanical systems, including cooling and HVAC, for critical projects from concept through to construction. This involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into sustainable and cost-effective engineering solutions. You will also oversee the quality of design deliverables and coordinate with various stakeholders, presenting technical information clearly. A key part of the role is mentoring junior engineers and improving design processes, including digital workflows like Revit MEP and BIM. The company is looking for someone with extensive experience in mission-critical mechanical systems, ideally within data centres, and a strong understanding of German and international design standards. Fluency in English is essential, with German or Polish language skills being a strong advantage.
