Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Lead to join their Technology & Infrastructure department. This role involves managing and overseeing information management standards according to ISO 19650, ensuring their consistent application across projects. You'll be gathering feedback from projects to drive improvements, supporting the development of the Object Type Library and Master Information Model, and integrating IFC and CAD standards.
You will also be responsible for integrating various systems, including Autodesk Forma, IBM Maximo, and others, and coordinating improvements to the Common Data Environment (CDE). This position acts as a bridge between BIM for projects and BIM for asset management, ensuring reliable information throughout the infrastructure lifecycle. Staying updated on openBIM, data integration, and AI developments to implement practical applications is also key.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and experience in BIM, digital information management, or data management within construction or infrastructure. Strong knowledge of openBIM standards like IFC and IDS, along with familiarity with ISO 19650, is essential. Experience with model checking software, system integrations, and a technical mindset are highly valued.
