Job Description
This company is looking for a Mechanical Design Manager to join their team in Germany. You'll be responsible for the HVAC and cooling design strategy for large-scale data center projects, influencing them from the early stages right through to construction.
You'll act as the subject matter expert for mechanical infrastructure, working closely with development, construction, and external partners to ensure facilities are efficient, reliable, and future-proof. This role involves leading design activities, reviewing documentation, and managing consultants across the full project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing HVAC/cooling systems for major facilities, a strong understanding of cooling infrastructure and energy optimization, and proficiency with tools like Revit and BIM platforms. Fluent German is a must.
