Job Description
This company is looking for a BIM Manager to lead digital project delivery for complex industrial and commercial electrical projects. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring designs are constructible and ready for fabrication, bridging the gap between engineering, BIM/VDC, and field execution.
Your role will involve leading the development and coordination of electrical models using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, ensuring they align with codes and are clash-free with other trades. You'll also drive constructability reviews, identify potential installation issues early on, and collaborate with field teams and prefabrication specialists to improve labor efficiency.
You'll manage and mentor BIM engineers and VDC resources, establish modeling standards, and participate in design reviews. The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years supporting electrical construction projects in BIM or VDC environments, and advanced proficiency in the key software.
