This role is about leading the design process for projects, from the initial stages right through to finalizing all design work and awarding subcontracts. It involves overseeing the design team, ensuring best practices are followed, and thoroughly understanding project requirements, budgets, and contractual obligations. You'll be responsible for coordinating consultant teams, developing and managing quality assurance processes, and creating detailed design schedules that align with the overall project timeline. This position also requires you to be the main point of contact for clients and municipalities regarding design matters, and to foster technical expertise within the team. The company is looking for someone with a technical or business degree, ideally with experience in design-build projects and a background in construction management. Proficiency in BIM software, including Navisworks and Revit, is essential, with experience in Aconex or Revizto being a plus.
