Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Manager specializing in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines to join their team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role involves overseeing BIM data coordination, ensuring quality and adherence to standards, and optimizing processes for complex multidisciplinary projects.
You will be the firm's BIM representative for M&E disciplines, working with clients and partners. Your responsibilities include developing coordination strategies, establishing data governance, creating and maintaining project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and conducting quality control and model audits. You'll also provide training and support to project teams on BIM standards and tools, and stay updated on industry trends.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 10 years of BIM coordination experience on large-scale infrastructure projects, and proficiency in BIM software like Revit and Navisworks, as well as collaborative platforms. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with fluency in both French and English.
