Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Manager to join their team, supporting commercial mechanical construction projects remotely in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role is about leading the BIM and VDC coordination efforts, ensuring mechanical systems like HVAC and piping are integrated smoothly with other trades.
You'll be responsible for developing and managing BIM models throughout projects, identifying and resolving coordination conflicts using BIM software, and participating in meetings with various project stakeholders. This involves reviewing construction documents, leading clash detection, and supporting constructability reviews to ensure successful field installation.
The ideal candidate has over five years of BIM/VDC experience in mechanical construction, with a solid grasp of processes and proficiency in Revit and Navisworks. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are key, as is the ability to work independently and interpret complex drawings.
