Job Description
The company is looking for an experienced MEP BIM Manager to guide VDC/BIM coordination for significant commercial mechanical construction projects. This position involves managing BIM standards, ensuring model quality, conducting clash detection, and overseeing coordination from the initial stages through to project completion, all while supporting field operations and fabrication.
The role requires leading BIM/VDC processes for large-scale commercial mechanical projects. You'll be responsible for chairing coordination meetings with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and trade partners. Key duties include overseeing Revit modeling, Navisworks clash detection, and maintaining model quality. Developing BIM standards, workflows, and best practices will also be a core part of the job, along with supporting prefabrication, installation planning, and field coordination.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with over 7 years of BIM/VDC experience, preferably with a mechanical contractor.
