Job Description
The company is looking for a Project Engineer for Planning to oversee the technical, economic, and schedule aspects of railway infrastructure planning projects. This role involves leading a team of planning engineers, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant technical and regulatory requirements.
You'll be responsible for managing railway infrastructure projects through all planning phases, coordinating with various disciplines like structural engineering and signaling, and ensuring deadlines, quality, and costs are met. A key part of the job is quality assurance, conducting internal reviews, and coordinating external checks, all while maintaining thorough documentation according to specific railway guidelines.
This position requires a degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or a related field, with several years of experience in transportation infrastructure planning, ideally in railway projects. Strong knowledge of German planning regulations (HOAI, VOB, EBA guidelines, etc.) is essential, and experience with BIM methods is a plus. Proficiency in planning software like AutoCAD, Revit, or MS Project is also expected.
