Job Description
This company is looking for a Design Cost Planner to join their team in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. You'll be responsible for managing cost planning throughout the design and delivery phases of a major greenfield rail project. This involves setting up cost plans, performing quantity take-offs at each design stage, and identifying potential risks and opportunities early on.
You'll work closely with engineering, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure value-for-money outcomes and provide clear, accurate cost reports and forecasts. Experience with 3D/5D cost planning tools and a background in infrastructure cost planning, particularly on major rail or civil projects, would be beneficial.
