Job Description
The company is looking for a Construction Project Manager in Amman, Jordan. This role involves building and structuring the Construction & Projects Department, establishing standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, and reporting systems. You will lead a team of engineers, surveyors, contractors, and subcontractors, overseeing all aspects of site execution, including schedules, resources, costs, and quality.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating various construction disciplines, ensuring contractor performance, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards. You'll also be responsible for monitoring project progress against plans, implementing recovery strategies for any delays, and managing project handover and closeout.
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory, along with over 10 years of experience in construction and project management, ideally with a background in real estate development or large-scale construction. Strong leadership skills and experience with Primavera P6, project controls, cost control, and contract management are essential. A PMP certification is highly preferred.
