Job Description
The company is looking for an Engineer I to manage the design and construction of major public works projects. This role involves overseeing projects from the design phase through to completion, ensuring they meet specifications and budgets. You'll be reviewing plans, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and solving on-site construction challenges.
This position offers a blend of office work and site visits, requiring strong technical engineering skills and the ability to manage staff. Experience with street and drainage projects, particularly within public agencies, is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or able to obtain licensure within six months.
