As an Ontwerpleider Kunstwerken, you'll be responsible for creating and managing realistic design plans for complex infrastructure and hydraulic engineering projects. You'll work closely with all stakeholders, lead a team of experts, and ensure designs are well-founded, sustainable, and feasible. Your role involves keeping a close eye on planning, budget, and quality, while also identifying and reporting any deviations. The company is a consultancy and engineering firm focused on developing sustainable, manageable, and technically executable solutions through an integrated, multidisciplinary approach. You'll be involved from tender and design through to realization and maintenance, with innovation and digitalization, including BIM, playing a key part. Collaboration with construction and management teams ensures practical designs that align with real-world construction. A background in Civil Engineering (HBO or WO) with knowledge of Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Construction Processes is essential. Previous experience as a Design Manager on bridge and structural projects is required, along with strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
