Job Description
The company is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Construction/Project Manager in daily site operations for a railway project in Penang, Malaysia. This role involves coordinating project progress, preparing documentation, and managing work schedules.
You'll be responsible for monitoring material usage to minimize waste and working closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure work aligns with approved drawings. A key part of the role includes verifying site progress, conducting measurements, and preparing documents for progress claims.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with proficiency in relevant engineering or project management tools. Strong leadership skills are essential for guiding site teams. While prior experience in railway projects is a plus, familiarity with civil and structural works is important.
