Job Description
The company is looking for an Engineering Design Manager to oversee the planning and design of complex data center and AI infrastructure projects. This role involves taking a project from initial client requirements through to the final integrated design, managing a team of designers and consultants across various engineering disciplines.
You'll be responsible for ensuring all systems and infrastructure are coordinated and integrated seamlessly. This includes translating project needs into practical designs, resolving any design gaps or conflicts, and leading the design process through project changes and adaptations. Collaboration with stakeholders, project managers, suppliers, and clients will be key to meeting project objectives and schedules.
A background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is essential, along with experience in managing the design of industrial facilities or complex engineering systems. A strong understanding of system-level integration and experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams is required. Familiarity with Data Center facilities and specific systems like MV electrical, HVAC, power generation, and BMS would be a significant advantage.
