The company is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager in North York, Ontario, Canada. This role involves leading a design team through the production of contract documents and managing the contract administration phase of construction projects. You'll be responsible for interfacing with contractors and architectural teams, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site reviews, and managing RFIs and change notices. The work will also include field reviews of mechanical systems like HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection for various building types. To be successful in this position, you should have at least five years of experience designing mechanical systems for commercial, institutional, or industrial buildings. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology is required, and registration with PEO and OACETT is preferred. Experience with healthcare projects and a strong track record in project delivery, both technically and financially, are highly valued. You'll need excellent leadership, client service, and project management skills, along with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with Revit and provincial building codes and standards is essential.
