This role is for a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to join the company's biopharma and life sciences unit. You'll be responsible for all civil and structural engineering aspects throughout the project lifecycle, from design and planning to calculations and execution. This includes creating detailed documentation for procurement and addressing any issues that arise during construction. You will also manage project budgets, quality, and timelines, supporting the project management team with scheduling. A key part of this position involves coordinating subcontractors, ensuring high-quality execution, and maintaining safety and environmental standards, while also managing interdisciplinary interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering or a related technical field, with several years of experience leading structural design for large-scale projects. Strong technical knowledge of engineering, planning, and construction processes, along with familiarity with local building regulations and excellent German and English skills, are essential.
