Job Description
The company is seeking a Sr. VDC/BIM Engineer to manage and implement VDC processes on heavy civil construction projects. This role involves leading a team of BIM modelers, developing construction sequencing, and creating supporting visuals and models.
The ideal candidate will have experience with underground utilities, industrial piping, earthwork, and concrete structures, using software like Civil 3D, Revit, and BIM coordination platforms. They should be adept at reviewing models for constructability, resolving clashes, and documenting company standards.
This position requires a strong understanding of construction means and methods, the ability to manage a distributed team, and experience with project scheduling and reporting. Travel to project sites will be necessary.
