Job Description
This company is looking for a Team Lead VDC to join their Innovation team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of design and construction by supporting project teams with advanced VDC tools and methods. This role involves working on large-scale construction projects, leveraging BIM and VDC to drive project growth and execution.
In this position, you will manage and mentor a team of VDC coordinators, ensuring BIM/VDC services are delivered effectively across multiple projects. You'll also be responsible for developing team members, mastering various project delivery methods, and writing BIM execution plans. A key part of the role is implementing and refining BIM processes, fostering a culture of learning and innovation, and ensuring project quality and deadlines are met.
The ideal candidate will have a background in construction engineering, civil engineering, or architecture, or equivalent experience, with over 5 years in BIM project management and resource management within the construction industry. Proficiency in software like Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Revizto is essential, along with a strong understanding of CDE and openBIM formats, and good technical knowledge of building mechanics and construction.
