Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Manager to lead their virtual construction efforts, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role involves championing a "build it virtually first" approach, ensuring high standards of model accuracy for fabrication and installation, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
The position requires developing and mentoring VDC professionals, driving organizational buy-in for VDC processes, and overseeing the creation of fabrication-level models (LOD 400+). You'll be instrumental in integrating emerging technologies and establishing workflows that connect design, coordination, fabrication, and field execution.
A background in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, with 7-10 years of industry experience and at least 5 years in leadership, is essential. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, along with a strong understanding of MEP systems and prefabrication, is key to success in this role.
