Job meta
This role is all about leading the charge on BIM and VDC efforts, particularly for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The focus is on virtually building projects before they hit the ground, ensuring everything is accurate and ready for fabrication and installation. It's a leadership position where building a strong, collaborative team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement is key. The company is looking for someone to champion a "build it virtually first" philosophy, setting high standards for model accuracy and constructability. This involves developing teams, mentoring VDC professionals, and creating pathways for career growth. You'll be instrumental in ensuring models are detailed enough for fabrication (LOD 400+) and that workflows connect design, coordination, and field execution seamlessly. If you have a strong background in MEP systems, prefabrication, and advanced skills in Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, this could be a great fit. The company values leadership in driving VDC adoption and a keen eye for detail in model accuracy. Explore this opportunity to shape the future of virtual construction.
