Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. This role involves leading the technical development and production of construction documentation across various project phases. You'll be working closely with project managers and discipline leads to ensure design intent is maintained while focusing on constructability and building science principles.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with internal disciplines and external consultants, reviewing documentation for accuracy against building codes, and supporting contract administration activities. Mentoring junior team members is also a key part of this position.
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, along with a solid understanding of building systems and the Ontario Building Code, are essential. Experience with BIM workflows and construction contract administration would be beneficial.
