Job Description
The company is looking for a Project Architect with 5 to 10 years of experience to lead municipal and state-funded projects in Wakefield, Massachusetts. This role involves managing public sector projects from the initial design phase all the way through construction administration.
You'll be responsible for leading project teams, coordinating with consultants, and overseeing the preparation of construction documents. A key part of this position is managing the bidding process, responding to RFIs, handling change orders, and ensuring smooth construction administration, all while working with various regulatory agencies.
Strong knowledge of Massachusetts building codes and public procurement processes is essential. While not strictly required, having a Massachusetts Registered Architect license and proficiency in AutoCAD would be a significant advantage for this role.
