Job Description
This role is for a Senior CAD Technician specializing in Protection & Control within the substation engineering field. The company is looking for someone to produce detailed engineering drawings and documents, focusing on protection and control panel design, relay schematics, and secondary engineering for high-voltage projects.
You'll be involved in the full design lifecycle, from creating layouts and single line diagrams to converting existing designs and performing crucial calculations like cable sizing and fault level analysis. This position also offers the chance to mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substation design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of relevant US codes and standards. Experience with E-Plan is a plus.
