Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Structural Steel Detailer to join their team in Athens, Georgia, with the possibility of remote work. This role involves leading the creation of high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures. You'll be responsible for complex projects, ensuring all details meet fabrication and erection needs, and guiding junior detailers.
You should have a strong grasp of fabrication and construction processes, and be adept at interpreting structural and architectural plans. The position requires resolving complex connection issues, performing quality checks, and producing all necessary shop drawings, erection plans, and material lists.
This opportunity is for someone with at least 8 years of experience in Tekla detailing for structural steel, including leadership experience. Advanced Tekla Structures proficiency and a solid understanding of AISC codes are essential. If you're a detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills, this could be a great fit.
