The company is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role involves leading the technical coordination of grid-scale renewable energy projects, including PV, Wind, and BESS, from the development phase through construction. You'll be working on interconnection, preliminary engineering analysis, and managing project designs. You'll be responsible for supporting development engineering, which includes coordinating preliminary designs, facilitating engineering studies, and acting as the technical interface with various internal and external teams. This also involves managing third-party engineering consultants and ensuring designs meet technical specifications and permitting requirements. In the EPC Design Execution phase, you will assist in preparing RFPs, reviewing EPC schedules, and coordinating engineering deliverables with EPCs, utilities, and ISOs. You'll also review detailed engineering design packages and provide construction support by facilitating RFI responses and reviewing change orders. If you have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, over 7 years of experience in renewable energy projects, and a strong understanding of PV, Wind, or BESS technologies, this could be a great fit.
