Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Application & Design Engineer to join their Technical Sales Support and Aftermarket Applications team in Dubai. This role is focused on supporting REFIT Oil & Gas projects, where you'll be involved in technical application engineering, design, costing, and proposal development. You'll manage customer inquiries from the initial design stages all the way through to order acceptance.
This position blends technical engineering expertise with project management to help enable sales and ensure accurate contracts. You'll be responsible for reviewing client requests, preparing proposals, creating 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor, and conducting site surveys. Collaboration with global support teams and internal departments will be key to evaluating project risks and costs.
You'll also handle estimation, costing, and commercial support, including negotiating with suppliers and preparing tender documents. The role involves managing the pre-execution phase of customer orders, tracking project schedules, and coordinating the handover of confirmed orders to the execution teams. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be an important part of this role.
If you have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5-8 years of experience in a technical or applications engineering role, this could be a great opportunity for you.
