This role is for a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in structural design, based in Hamburg, Germany. The company is looking for someone to lead and organize the integrated planning process for complex construction projects, from initial design through to construction. You'll be involved in the structural planning itself, using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support your work. As a project leader, you will oversee the structural design and calculations for large-scale national and international projects. A key part of this will be acting as a liaison, ensuring smooth collaboration between different disciplines like architecture, MEP, electrical engineering, and external planners. You'll also be responsible for managing the costs and outcomes for the structural engineering aspects of each project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with extensive experience in structural design and project management for major projects. You should be familiar with relevant regulations and standards, and have experience with BIM software, ideally Revit, as well as structural analysis tools. A passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to climate-neutral building practices are also important.
