Job Description
This role involves leading a team of designers and modelers to create overall plant 3D models and drawings for civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, and process disciplines. The position is based in Mississauga, Ontario, with potential travel to India.
The focus will be on ensuring adherence to modeling standards, maintaining high accuracy and quality of models and drawings, and defining project team structures. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, tracking project activities, and participating in initiatives to improve workflows and tools.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in a technical discipline, at least 15 years of relevant experience including team leadership, and extensive knowledge of Smart 3D, AutoCAD, Plant3D, Tekla, Revit, and SolidWorks. Strong understanding of BIM protocols, business acumen, and leadership skills are essential.
