You'll work closely with architects and contractors, manage project schedules, and conduct site visits to check on progress. Preparing reports for stakeholders and ensuring safety regulations are followed will also be key parts of your job. You'll also help coordinate materials and resources, and mentor junior team members. To be successful, you'll need a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with at least five years of project engineering experience in construction. A good grasp of project management methods, contract management, and proficiency in software like MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Revit are important.
