The company is looking for a BIM Planner to join their team in the Greater Toronto Area. This role is for someone who thrives on taking ownership of projects and seeing them through to completion, rather than needing step-by-step instructions. You'll be responsible for creating accurate, build-ready layouts using Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring they align with established standards. Your work will involve maintaining and updating models to reflect changes, managing drawing accuracy, and handling change requests from stores efficiently. You'll also use space analytics to inform layout decisions and prepare summaries of changes for forecasting and approvals. This position requires strong project management skills, the ability to work autonomously, and a collaborative approach with various teams. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in CAD/BIM or space planning, with advanced skills in AutoCAD and Revit. They should be comfortable working with ambiguity, making sound judgments, and have a keen eye for technical accuracy and quality control. Experience in enterprise-scale environments is a plus.
