Job Description
This company is looking for a Senior BIM Technician to join their team in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. You'll be central to delivering and coordinating Building Services designs, creating high-quality BIM models, and working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet top standards.
The role involves leading BIM model development and management, producing detailed Revit models, and coordinating models to resolve clashes using industry-standard tools. You'll also support project teams with BIM strategies, collaborate with various stakeholders, and help implement BIM Execution Plans. A key part of this position is identifying and managing coordination risks and mentoring junior technicians.
To be successful, you'll need 8-10 years of experience in BIM modelling for Building Services, advanced Revit skills, and strong experience in at least one discipline like Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, or Hydraulic services. Experience with BIM collaboration platforms and clash detection is essential, as are good communication and teamwork abilities.
