Job Description
This company in Reno, Nevada, is looking for a Senior BIM/VDC Engineer to join their Infrastructure Development team. You'll be instrumental in setting the direction for digital project delivery, managing and maintaining complex federated BIM models that involve multiple disciplines.
Your role will involve coordinating the work of various teams, including design, trade contractors, and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless integration of their contributions into the central model. You'll also be responsible for integrating layout teams and coordinating design efforts for planning and conceptual work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Revit and Autodesk software, with experience in point clouds, laser scanning, and potentially drone surveying. Experience with model automation using Revit API and interfacing with construction for quantity takeoffs is also highly valued.
