The company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing Buildings & Places team in Québec, Canada. This role involves designing and delivering mechanical systems for various projects, including water treatment facilities and pumping stations. You'll be a key player in developing innovative solutions, mentoring team members, and contributing to the growth of the mechanical engineering practice. You'll lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and related systems, providing technical leadership and coordinating with other disciplines like architecture and electrical. This includes overseeing design teams, ensuring quality and efficiency, and developing sustainable and cost-effective design approaches. You'll also prepare technical reports, specifications, cost estimates, and track project progress. To be successful, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least six years of relevant experience, and be a registered member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and energy modeling software is highly desirable, as is knowledge of sustainability standards like LEED.
