The company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Ain Sokhna, Egypt. This role involves leading mechanical design, reverse engineering, and fabrication projects within a manufacturing setting. The focus is on improving equipment reliability, productivity, and safety, while also supporting digital transformation and sustainability efforts. You'll be overseeing workshop operations, managing fabrication and repair activities, and leading reverse engineering for spare parts. The position requires designing and modifying equipment to boost performance and productivity, preparing project proposals, and managing capacity enhancement projects. You'll also be involved in root cause analysis, implementing safety systems, and optimizing spare parts inventory. This opportunity is ideal for someone with 5-7+ years of experience in mechanical design, fabrication, or project engineering, who is proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Plant 3D. Experience with SAP PM or IBM Maximo, along with knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies like 3D printing, would be a strong asset.
