Job Description
This role is for a Senior Lead Engineer in Structural Engineering, based in Namur, Belgium. You'll be joining a team of around 120 experts focused on delivering complex infrastructure projects both in Belgium and internationally. The company is looking for someone to lead and manage structural engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline goals.
A key part of this position involves acting as a technical expert, providing guidance and design reviews for other projects. You'll be expected to drive the use of BIM and parametric design to boost efficiency and innovation within the team. Collaboration is essential, as you'll be working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including design engineers and draftsmen, to create integrated solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 20 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly with complex infrastructures like bridges and tunnels. Strong leadership and project management skills across all project phases are crucial, as is proven expertise in BIM and parametric design. Fluency in Dutch is required, with English or French being a plus.
