Job Description
This company is seeking a Senior VDC Engineer to join their Virtual Design & Construction team. You'll be instrumental in using technology and collaboration to solve problems on construction projects. This role involves coordinating modeling efforts, ensuring deliverables meet construction needs, and managing the VDC coordination schedule.
You will lead clash detection and resolution, conduct quality reviews of models, and ensure best practices are followed. A key part of this position is also training and developing other team members, contributing to the company's VDC goals.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of BIM/VDC experience in commercial construction, with strong skills in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. A solid understanding of construction management processes and contract documents is essential.
